Archibald and Shorter Greenlane has been hailed as the national champions as the Jaguar Land Rover Supreme Retailer of the Year.

Archibald and Shorter Greenlane picked up the national award for excellence in vehicle retailing along with the Jaguar Land Rover New Zealand Retail Marketing Team Award. The premium car dealer was also runner up in five other categories including the overall Land Rover Retailer, New Car Sales and Approved Pre-Owned Awards.

Archibald and Shorter Greenlane Dealer Principal, Lee Small, said he and the team were delighted that their hard work and commitment to customer outcomes were recognised with the awards.

“I’m very proud of my team and their performance, we’ve all worked hard over the last 4 years in sometimes ‘trying situations’ and have forged a real customer focused can do attitude. Winning the supreme dealer again for 2019 is a great recognition and something we all share in; I think the key is to enjoy what you do and to want to deliver all the time the best you can.

It certainly helps having brands like Jaguar and Land Rover to keep that focus with arguably the best line up we’ve ever seen currently, with more exciting cars to come like the New Defender and Jaguars 2nd all electric car the new XJ next year. 2020 has seen its fair share of surprises, but over the last 6 weeks we have seen a real resurgence in the demand for our cars and we are back on track to have another stellar year,” he said.
Jaguar Land Rover New Zealand’s General Manager, Steve Kenchington, said the awards were thoroughly deserved.

“The Greenlane team is a credit to the retail network we support - their commitment to the continuous development of the customer experience in their retail environment has raised the bar and we are confident that the rest of the country will follow,” he said.
Other notable mentions were Archibald and Shorter North Shore and Duncan and Ebbett Tauranga who picked up Jaguar New Zealand Retailer of the Year and Land Rover New Zealand Retailer of the Year awards respectively. Both businesses achieved incredible growth over the finical year to 31 March, significantly contributing to the brands’ record sales year.
